SNAP 2023 - The Complete Guide

Exam Pattern

SNAP 2023 exam date is December 10, 2023 and the exam will be held from 2PM to 3PM as a computer-based test. Symbiosis International University (SIU) Pune conducts SNAP exam each year for admission to its 16 principal Symbiosis MBA colleges.

The last date to apply for SNAP 2023 is November 23, 2023. SNAP exam full form - Symbiosis National Aptitude Test suggests that the exam is meant mainly for admission to Symbiosis Institutes.

Section 1: SNAP Syllabus for General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability

Section Highlights:This section contains all the elements of English Language and the major parts included are English Language, Reading Comprehension Passages, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability.

Number of Questions: 30
Normal Questions (MCQs): 30
Special Questions (Non-MCQs): Nil
Maximum available score: 45 Marks
Sectional Weightage in SNAP Syllabus: 30%

Important Topics in SNAP Exam Syllabus:
Reading Comprehension (RC) Passages: 10-12 Questions
  • 2 RC Passage followed by 10 questions.
  • RC topics are based on Facts, Opinion, Literature, Current Affairs, etc.
  • The SNAP Syllabus on RC passages does not toss difficult questions.
  • RC Based questions are related to the RC passage contents.
Verbal Ability (VA): 20-22 Questions
  • Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blanks.
  • Idioms, Phrases, Vocabulary usage.
  • Jumbled Paragraphs.
  • Correction of Errors in sentences.
  • Core Grammar usage – Conditionals, Active Passive, Indirect Narration etc.
Verbal Reasoning: 2-4 Questions
  • Critical Reasoning
  • Analogy
  • Identifying Parts of Speech
Section 2: SNAP Syllabus for Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency

Section Highlights:This section syllabus includes questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. Although Questions on Data Interpretation are constrained, they sometimes prove extensive than questions on Quant and use major part of the time.

Section Highlights:SIU Pune has refurbished the Current Affairs section in SNAP Exam Syllabus and has made it easier for the candidates. The Current Affairs Syllabus in SNAP is limited to the current affairs of last 2 years.
