Grit Scale
This will help student identify how successful in life she/he will become. The more Gritter person is the more successful in long run. GRIT Score above 3 is Good and above 4 shows you are on the right path. If you have a score between 2 and 3 , It means you start strong but lose focus and pick up other things. Below 2 you need to change your approach and setup a fixed goal and not change it.
Grit defines passion & focus on long-term goals and achievements. One way to think about grit is to consider what grit isn’t. Grit isn’t talent or luck or how bad you want something. Grit is about having what can be called as the ultimate goal in life, for which you care so much that you organize and give meaning to almost everything you do in life. GRIT is not losing focus from that goal. Even if you fall down and fail, even when you make mistakes, even when progress is slow or looks like stopping, you don’t lose hope and keep a focused approach to achieve the same.
Talent and luck matter to success. But in the very long run, GRIT matters the most on how successful you will be in achieving the goal.
