IIM Latest Updates
- The CAT Exam was held on 24 November 2024 and results will be announced in the first week of January 2024. IIMs have placed 100% of their students in 2024.
- IIM Ahmedabad has witnessed the highest international package of 1.75 Crore and IIM Calcutta has the highest domestic package of 1.15 Crore.
- IIMs have seen a 5% to 15% drop in the placement offered to them in 2024.
- IIM Lucknow concluded its summer placement for the 2024-2026 batch, securing 576 offers. The average stipend was ₹1.43 lakh per month, with a median of ₹1.50 lakh. The highest domestic stipend reached ₹3.95 lakh, showcasing the institute's strong demand and global appeal.
- IIM Indore in collaboration with Times Pro Launched Chief Executive Offifers programme for the students.

IIM Lucknow has just released the CAT 2024 data
Following are the highlights of CAT Exam 2023 Updates:
As per the CAT 2024 updates, 434 students will be competing for each and every seat in IIMs. In 2024 IIMs will be admitting appx. 7500 students against 3,50,000 total eligible applicants.

- CAT 2024 was held in 156 cities at 438 test centers on Sunday 26th Nov 2023. This was conducted during the three shifts.
- The time allotted per shift was 120 minutes means 2 hours and for PwD students it was 160 minutes.
- The maximum time allotted for each section was 40 minutes and 53.20 minutes for PwD aspirants.

Total 2.88 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 3.50 lakhs registered eligible aspirants. The overall attendance was approximately 83%.

Selection Ratio: to remain 45 candidates per Seat
IIM Lucknow in their press release on 24th Sept has declared on CAT 2023 registration numbers.
- CAT 2021 will be conducted on November 28, 2021 (Sunday).
- The test format will remain same as last year, i.e. it will be in three shifts of 2-hour examination each, having three sections:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension,
- Quantitative Ability, and
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
- Candidates will get 40 minutes for each section, PwD candidates will get 13 minutes and 20 seconds extra for each section.
- This test will be conducted at over 400 Test Centres, spread across 159 cities in India on Sunday 28 November 2021
- Tutorials and mock tests to know the test format will be available on the CAT website from the last week of October 2024
