About MAT - MBAROIWhat is MAT Exam?

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) in India. It has been in operation since 1988 and is designed to facilitate business schools in selecting candidates for admission to MBA/PGDM and other associated management programs. MAT exam is held four times a year, usually in the months of February, May, September, and December. There are around 600+ business colleges who accept MAT as an entrance exam for admissions.

Like others, AIMA also made some major changes to the MAT exam Pattern. Due to the spread of coronavirus, candidates can appear in the MAT entrance exam from their home. For this they come up with a Remote Proctored Internet Based Test which will allow candidates to appear in the MAT entrance exam from their home.

MAT is conducted in both paper-based (offline) and computer-based (online) formats. Candidates can choose their preferred mode of examination during the registration process. The test is conducted in a format of multiple choice questions. The MAT exam is typically conducted for a duration of 150 minutes (2 hours and 30 minutes).
