How many times have you seen an exam trend change and thought, “Not again!” Welcome to the world of MBA admissions, where CUET PG now unlocks doors to some of the best management colleges in India. CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test for Post Graduate) is the new route to get into over 190 MBA colleges in India starting in 2025. Both Central and State universities, plus many private institutes, accept CUET PG scores for MBA/PGDM admissions. These universities provide courses such as HR, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Business Analytics, and more.
A single exam score gets you considered for a wide university list. Transparent process, known timelines, and minimal surprises—unless you count deadline stress. You get choices ranging from the University of Delhi to Lovely Professional University, BHU to Amity, and many more.
So basically, more open doors, less running in circles.
Why should you consider CUET PG 2026 to target? The answer is simple. It's beneficial, if you take the CAT exam then you find out how many students give this exam every year and how manny got into top colleges. Only 2-3% students get into good colleges such as IIMs and Top private B-schools. What happens to other students, they struggle to get admission in good universities and are stuck in average B-Schools but by CUET PG they get one more chance to get admission. While CUET PG is not for IIM admission but still it provides very good central and state universities.
These universities are considered good not just because of placements but also for their affordability. In an average B-school students give about 8-9 lacs fee for MBA programs but in central and state universities this fee drops significantly to 3-5 lacs that become a very good choice for middle class students.
There is one thing that students need to keep in mind, even though the CUET PG provides good universities, you need to check if the college you are considering has a good placement record or not. For that you can ask the college managements, check their online review, talk to your seniors and you can also contact us to consult about which colleges should be ideal for your background.
All students who have a graduation degree can apply for the CUET PG MBA exam. Even if you haven’t completed your graduation then you can also apply but for that you need to be in your final year. You will be considered as a result awaited students but your graduation must be completed before MBA admissions. So that universities and colleges can give you admission.
Also because this is a management course with being a masters course you will not be limited by your age. It means this exam does not have a specific age limit, at any point in your career you can give this CUET PG exam for MBA.
There are some other Eligibility criteria that all students have to keep in mind. In your graduation you need at least 60% and this percentage can vary university to university. If you are an foreign student then this exam is not for you, because many universities that participate in CUET PG are not meant for foreign students. You can take the CAT exam if you have this condition. After qualifying the CUET PG exam, always check the individual university’s official site, because eligibility rules can (and do) change like Delhi weather.
