KMAT Karnataka 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To appear for KMAT 2025, candidates must meet the academic and category-specific requirements outlined below.
Academic Qualifications
For MBA/PGDM
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) from a recognized university
- Minimum 50% marks (General)
- Minimum 45% marks (Reserved categories)
For MCA
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3 years) with Mathematics/Statistics
- Same minimum marks criteria as MBA
Eligible Degrees
- B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc, B.E/B.Tech, BCA
- B.Sc/M.Sc in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science (for MCA)
Age Criteria
- Minimum: 21 years by December 31, 2025
- No maximum age limit
Work Experience
MBA: Freshers eligible. Work experience (0–5 years) is an added advantage.
MCA: Primarily for fresh graduates. Relevant experience welcomed.
Category-Based Eligibility
General: Standard eligibility
OBC: Relaxations with valid non-creamy layer certificate
SC/ST: Relaxed cutoffs, valid caste and domicile certificates needed
Karnataka Domicile: Special preference, with proof required
Required Documents
- 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheets and certificates
- Category certificates
- Valid photo ID (Aadhar, PAN, Passport)
- Domicile or disability certificate (if applicable)
