Complete registration process in simple steps
Step 1: Create an account
Go to the official SNAP website (snaptest.org) and click on “Register.” After that you will see terms and conditions for the SNAP examination, and accept it to continue. Your basic details will be asked and you need to enter a valid email ID and mobile number. All future updates will be sent to these mail and mobile numbers, your credentials will be verified via OTP. After your registration, you will receive your SNAP ID and password. By that you fill your application form for SNAP examination.
Step 2: Fill personal details
Provide all your information correctly and accurately as you will not be able to modify your application after submission. You have to give the following details:
- Full name (as per 10th marksheet)
- Date of birth
- Gender and category (General, OBC, SC, ST, PwD)
- Nationality and domicile state
- Contact details
Step 3: Enter academic qualifications
In this step you need to enter all your academic qualifications from 10th class to highest qualification.
Details you will need are:
- Class 10 and 12 board name, year, and marks
- Graduation degree marks, university, passing year
If you are in your final-year of graduation then you will come in the result awaited category where you must give the expected course completion date of your graduation.

Step 4: Upload documents
In your registration process you also need to upload scanned copies of your documents. These documents must contain all your information correctly. The documents are following:
- Recent passport-size photo (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, no more than 6 months old)
- Signature photo
- Valid ID proof
- Category or disability certificate (if applicable)
Step 5: Select exam preferences
As you know an SNAP candidate can give up to 3 tests, and he can choose his preferred exam city. You have to give your three preferences for exam city and time slot will be provided through admit card.
So choose how many tests you want to take and your preferred city.
Step 6: Pay registration fee
Here you need to pay the entrance test registration fee of 2250 rupees for each test you take, also you need to pay an additional 1000 rupees for per programme registration, you can choose more than one programme. The government taxes will be applicable, so keep that in mind also.
You can use any one of the following payment modes:
- Billdesk Payment Gateway. (UPI, Credit, Debt card, etc.)
- Easebuzz Payment Gateway.
- Demand Draft.
This will enable candidates to pay fees online as well as using demand draft. If you face any issue with payment gateway or registration you can raise a query and generate a ticket by your SNAP account.
One of the most important is that after registration, any correction will not be accepted. Also the fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Registration Dates
Its registration starts in August every year and registration ends in November. In the year 2025 the registration ends on November 20,2025 (Thursday). The same can be expected from the year 2026, the registration will start in the first week of August 2026 and end in the last week of November.
