What is ATMA Exam?

AIMS Test for Management Admissions or ATMA is a national-level exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admission to MBA, PGDM, MCA and PGDBA courses.

Apply for ATMA 2025 The exam is organized four times a year. More than 500 management institutes across India accept ATMA scores for admission to their management programmes. The test intends to evaluate the aptitude of candidates which is required for higher management studies.

ATMA is held 3–5 times a year, giving candidates multiple chances to qualify.

Syllabus Highlights

ATMA tests aptitude across six sections:

Cutoff Trends

Cutoffs vary by college and session. Most institutes accept scores between 60 to 75 percentile. However:

  3. Category-wise reservations may affect cutoffs

A good percentile improves your chances of converting calls from reputed institutes.


Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must meet the following:

  1. Minimum 50% in graduation (any stream)
  2. Degree from a UGC-recognized university
  3. Final year students are eligible
  4. Candidates with CA qualification can also apply
  5. Indian citizenship required

ATMA is a 3-hour computer-based test with 180 multiple-choice questions.

Admit Card Information

Admit cards will be available on the official website from July 15, 2025. Candidates can download it using their registration credentials.

The admit card contains:

  1. Candidate details
  2. Exam date and time
  3. Test center address
  4. Instructions for exam day

Entry without the admit card is not allowed. Keep it safe for future reference.


Answer Key Details

The provisional answer key is released 2–3 days after the exam. Candidates can raise objections with supporting proof. The final answer key, based on these inputs, is used to calculate scores.
